Dana Schafer-Smith

Dana leads Technical Talent for Kleiner Perkins. She supports the firm’s portfolio companies by connecting them with exceptional engineers and builders, and oversees the Kleiner Perkins Fellows Program. 

Previously, Dana supported the engineering organizations at Pinterest and Grammarly through early talent, technical recruiting, and recruiting operations. Her career has been shaped by a deep focus on identifying high-potential talent and designing programs that accelerate growth.

Outside of work, you’ll find Dana at the dance studio, cooking up a new recipe, or convincing her bulldog to go for a walk in the park.
